Driving to the Airport
Domestic Terminal
1. Drive along Zhongshan 4th Road.
2. Slow down when approaching turns.
3. Turn left to enter Kaohsiung Airport.
4. Follow the signs for the domestic terminal to arrive.
Leaving the Terminal to the City
1. Drive straight past the domestic terminal exit.
2. Follow signs for the international terminal arrivals.
3. Pass the international terminal as directed.
4. Drive under the elevated road and follow signs to Zhongshan 4th Road toward the city.
International Terminal Departures
1. Drive along Zhongshan 4th Road.
2. Slow down when approaching turns.
3. Turn left to enter Kaohsiung Airport.
4. Take the elevated roadway.
5. Follow international departure signs to reach the third-floor departure area.
Leaving the Terminal to the City
1. Follow directions outside the international terminal.
2. Drive under the elevated road and follow signs to Zhongshan 4th Road toward the city.
International Terminal Arrivals
1. Drive along Zhongshan 4th Road.
2. Slow down when approaching turns.
3. Turn left to enter Kaohsiung Airport.
4. Follow signs for the international arrivals area.

1. Follow directions outside the international terminal.
2. Drive under the elevated road and follow signs to Zhongshan 4th Road toward the city.
Kaohsiung MRT
- Kaohsiung MRT has the Kaohsiung International Airport Station (Red Line R4). Exit 2 leads to the domestic terminal, Exit 6 leads to the international terminal, and four other exits are within the airport parking lot area.
- Peak-hour MRT intervals are 4-6 minutes, while off-peak intervals do not exceed 8 minutes.
- For transfers to the Orange Line, transfer at Formosa Boulevard (O5, R10).

Taxi Guidelines:
Airport queue taxis have the designated appearance shown in the image. If drivers exhibit the following behaviors, please note the car number, driver name, and describe the pickup/drop-off locations along with recorded evidence. Complaints can be submitted via email to the airport (kia@mail.kia.gov.tw) or Kaohsiung Airport Police (07-8011447).
1. Refusal to pick up passengers
2. Unclean vehicle or trunk filled with miscellaneous items
3. Taking detours or overcharging (excluding NT$50 international waiting fee)
4. Poor service attitude, complaining about short-distance passengers
5. Forcing passengers to switch vehicles or abruptly asking them to exit
6. Selling goods inside the taxi
7. Other violations of the Civil Aviation Airport Taxi Regulations
8. Traffic violations outside the airport are not managed by the airport; complaints require the complainant's name, ID number, and timestamped video evidence.
International Terminal Taxi Pickup Areas:
Taxi queue pickup areas (effective November 28, 2023): The international terminal queue pickup area is located outside Gate 1 near the FamilyMart convenience store. The domestic terminal pickup area is outside Gate 3.
Circulating taxis (effective November 28, 2023): Located outside Gate 9 near the terminal entrance.
Rental car priority boarding area: Located opposite the terminal in the international parking lot.
Ride-Hailing Pickup Location
Located across the airport near the Kaohsiung Park bus stop, accessible via the MRT underground walkway to Exit 1.

Check Available Parking & Reservations
Due to increasing traffic, the airport parking lot tends to be full during holidays or peak travel periods. We recommend using public transportation. For long-term parking needs, please consider nearby shuttle parking lots.

Automobile Parking Route Guide
Kaohsiung International Airport has three automobile parking lots located opposite the domestic terminal, opposite the international terminal, and on the right side of the international terminal. Follow signs to the parking areas.
Motorcycle Parking
Kaohsiung International Airport has two motorcycle parking areas: one for domestic flights and one for international flights. The domestic parking lot is on the right side of the domestic terminal, while the international parking lot is on the left side of the international terminal. Follow signs to access them.

Car Rental Center
The car rental center is located between the international and domestic terminals, near the bus stop.
How to Get to the Car Rental Center?
To reach the car rental center, enter the arrival hall via the customs check-in area, turn left, exit the hall, walk past the bus stop waiting pavilion, turn left, continue walking straight, then turn right to reach the rental center.
